Diet Plan Tips That Will Help You Boost Your Metabolism
Understanding what your body does with the calories you consume is an important factor to understand when trying to lose weight. The amount of calories you consume each day
and the amount of calories you burn through activity throughout the day is what regulates your weight. This is the process that gives your body the energy it needs.
The number of calories you burn each day just to function is your resting metabolic rate. Everybody’s resting metabolic rate is different because it depends on the body’s composition. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to increase your resting metabolic rate, which in turn will result in more calories being burned throughout the day.
The first thing you can do is exercise more. Because movement requires the use of energy, moving will burn more calories. Exercise adds to the calorie deficit that’s needed in order to lose weight. Exercise will also increase the amount of energy your body uses even after you’ve finished your workout. Every workout session uses more energy than is needed to do the workout. This results in a boost in your metabolism after you workout is complete.
Interval training involves high intensity exercise for short bouts of time followed by exercise at lower intensity for a longer time period. This kind of exercise can improve cardiovascular endurance and increase your metabolism.
When you participate in interval training, the amount of fat you burn after the workout increases. You ultimately burn more calories during your workouts of moderate intensity when you make interval training part of your weekly routine. When you use new muscle fibers in interval training sessions, the body’s use of carbohydrates and fats during other activities is enhanced.
Weight training will help you build muscles which are important for people of every age. Increase muscle mass makes daily activities easier, improves the tone of your body, boosts the metabolism, and improves muscle density. Muscle burns more energy than fat does which means the more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn both during activity and at
rest.
Eat frequently. In order to lose weight, a caloric deficit must be created, but reducing calories by skipping meals is not the way to go. Skipping meals does more harm than good, causing the body to go into starvation mode. This means the body will store energy rather than using it for fuel.
Avoid depriving your body of the energy it needs if you want to boost the number of calories you burn each day. When you eat small portions more frequently, your body gets the signal that it no longer needs to store food and starts burning food as it arrives.

Surprisingly as I scrolled down the page I approached the section where you have mentioned to eat frequently. I have a really bad habit when I am at work sitting straight for 9 hours. I actually don’t have food during that period. Could you please tell me what actually are the side effects of such an activity.

A few minutes ago I read an interview of that dude who invented the Factor 5 diet and he basically said that bananas are a waste because they only contain of sugar and have no fiber at all. What the heck?? Do people seriously get fat because of eating bananas? Yeah sure.
Anyway, I also get mad when I see those “healthy” diets that work like magic for everywone. No wonder why we're all so messed up and don't know how to eat properly!!

It's just a variation on a starvation diet..you'll lose a little water weight but that'll be about it..then you'll gain it all back plus a bunch more once you get so hungry you'll eat your own foot! Stupid idea. Just stick to a 1200 calorie a day diet and hit the treadmill for 30 to 40 minutes a day..
No but fad diets do not work.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

However, you appear to be doing this alone and that in itself will make it harder to stick with it. Also, if you can get your subconscious mind involved then it will all become easy.
