Interval training involves high intensity exercise for short bouts of time followed by exercise at lower intensity for a longer time period. This kind of exercise can improve cardiovascular endurance and increase your metabolism.
When you participate in interval training, the amount of fat you burn after the workout increases. You ultimately burn more calories during your workouts of moderate intensity when you make interval training part of your weekly routine. When you use new muscle fibers in interval training sessions, the body’s use of carbohydrates and fats during other activities is enhanced.
Weight training will help you build muscles which are important for people of every age. Increase muscle mass makes daily activities easier, improves the tone of your body, boosts the metabolism, and improves muscle density. Muscle burns more energy than fat does which means the more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn both during activity and at
rest.
Eat frequently. In order to lose weight, a caloric deficit must be created, but reducing calories by skipping meals is not the way to go. Skipping meals does more harm than good, causing the body to go into starvation mode. This means the body will store energy rather than using it for fuel.
Avoid depriving your body of the energy it needs if you want to boost the number of calories you burn each day. When you eat small portions more frequently, your body gets the signal that it no longer needs to store food and starts burning food as it arrives.

Surprisingly as I scrolled down the page I approached the section where you have mentioned to eat frequently. I have a really bad habit when I am at work sitting straight for 9 hours.
