. They assist the body with the fat burning and metabolising process but they're not going to melt the fat away in just a couple of days, be patient, keep eating healthy and exercise more.
3 – 4 months is a more realistic (and safer time scale). I'm not familiar with the points system at weight watchers, but I do remember some ladies I worked with once who followed weight watchers and on certain days they 'saved' up their points so they could eat something with a high point value that day. Needless to say, they weren't that successful.
Whatever diet system you use, the best way to shred fat is to cut out all (or most) processed food (especially bread and cereals, and including 'low fat' or 'low sugar' processed food) and instead eat just whole foods (fruit, veg, nuts, fish & lean meats) and drink lots of water. Once you've attained your target weight you can reintroduce 'treat' food for one day a week (my treat day is Saturday).
Also, a diet that is high in omega 3 will put your body into fat-burning mode (I eat sardines and / or high omega 3 eggs almost every day). Omega 3 is also good brain food – I once read that 75% of the brain's function is dependant on omega 3.
I have also given up milk and dairy products – the best thing I ever did to give me more energy. Worth a try if you feel you need to get energized (BTW, it is estimated that at least 25% of us are alergic to milk and dairy).
